TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS

1.) ANY TOURNAMENT COMPETITOR THAT DOES NOT ABIDE BY THE RULES and/or THOSE SPECIFIED for a TOURNAMENT will be IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM COMPETITION.
It is THE RESPONSIBILITY of EACH COMPETITOR to be AWARE OF & UNDERSTAND the RULES for each TOURNAMENT.
2.) MEMBERS MUST ATTEND 10 TOURNAMENTS BY MINIMUM TO HAVE A CHANCE TO QUALIFY FOR THE CLUB CLASSIC.
3.) FISH MUST BE PLAYED & LANDED by 1 ANGLER, BUT FISH CAN BE NETTED by ANOTHER ANGLER.
4.) 2 LINES MAXIMUM ALLOWED IN WATER. BE AWARE IF YOU HAVE TO CULL ON YOUR 6TH FISH THE SECOND LINE MUST COME OUT THE WATER.
5.) ALL TOURNAMENTS FOLLOW A CATCH & RELEASE POLICY.
EXCEPTIONS TO CATCH & RELEASE POLICY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
A. FISH COMMISSION REQUEST for REMOVAL of FISH for POPULATION CONTROL.
B. If fish is a TRUE TROPHY, ONE FISH MAY BE KEPT by that ANGLER.
C. If fish needs to be taken to STATE WEIGHING STATION for POSSIBLE STATE RECORD VERIFICATION.
D. FOR CONSUMPTION.
E. ANY FISH THAT IS DEAD.
6.) NO FISH (other than baitfish) ARE PERMITTED in ANY TOURNAMENT AREA.
7.) ONLY FISH SPECIES DESIGNATED for a GIVEN TOURNAMENT will be RECOGNIZED as LEGAL TOURNAMENT FISH.
8.) ALL FISHING is to be done WITHIN THE AREA LIMITS SET by the TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
9.) ONLY FISH CAUGHT DURING LEGAL TOURNAMENT HOURS, LEGAL DESIGNATED AREAS, & ONLY THOSE CAUGHT by COMPETING ANGLER HIMSELF are ALLOWABLE TOURNAMENT FISH.
10.) BAITS & TACKLE MUST FOLLOW CLUB & FISH COMMISSION STANDARDS.
11.) THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR HAS THE FINAL SAY on ALL TOURNAMENTS AND DISPUTES.
12.) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES or DRUGS ARE PERMITTED in the DESIGNATED TOURNAMENT AREAS from the BEGINNING of SIGN IN to the END OF WEIGH IN TIME.
13.) ALL COMPETITORS MUST HAVE A VALID FISHING LICENSE.
14.) TOURNAMENT WINNERS are DETERMINED by the TOTAL WEIGHT of TOURNAMENT FISH CAUGHT.
15.) COMPETITORS MUST BRING THEIR CATCH to the WEIGH IN ONCE BOAT IS OUT OF THE WATER OR DOCKED. If 5 MINUTES LATE TO WEIGH IN AFTER LAST PERSON WEIGHED, 1ST OFENSE IS WARNING, SECOND IS BIGGEST FISH DQ’d.
16.) ANY ANGLER FIGHTING FISH WILL HAVE THE RIGHT of WAY.
17.) ALL COMPETITORS MUST REMAIN in the LAUNCH AREA UNTIL the TOURNAMENT BEGINS.
18.) DISTANCE to TOURNAMENT SIGHT SHALL NOT EXCEED 1 1/2 HOURS of DRIVE TIME.
19.) AT LEAST 2 MEMBERS MUST BE PRESENT AT A TOURNAMENT FOR IT TO COUNT.
20.) NO MORE THAN STATE CREEL LIMIT BROUGHT TO WEIGH IN ALLOWED.
21. ONE FISH ONLY MAY BE WEIGHED-IN for BIG FISH/POOL FISH.
22.) If you are LATE for a TOURNAMENT, YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED INTO POOL FISH.
23.) 4 ounce PENALTY for EACH DEAD BASS.
24.) NO ANGLER is allowed to "PRE-FISH" any tournament lake up to TWO DAYS prior to the tournament date. For example: If a tourney falls on a Sunday, you CANNOT FISH the lake that Friday or Saturday.
25.) NO FISHING ANY FISH LADDER BETWEEN MARCH 1ST THRU JUNE 30TH OR AS POSTED.
**IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WILL TAKE PLACE:
1.) YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED from the TOURNAMENT.
2.) IF CAUGHT CHEATING, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED from the REMAINDER of the TOURNAMENTS for THAT TOURNAMENT YEAR.
3.) IF YOU ARE CAUGHT CHEATING A SECOND TIME, YOU WILL NOT be PERMITTED to FISH ANY TOURNAMENT held by the club & YOU WILL be BANNED from the CLUB for LIFE.
** ALL TOURNAMENTS are HELD RAIN or SHINE -- UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED by BOARD MEMBERS.
